MEET DANIEL
Daniel Harshaw is a lifelong York County resident with deep roots in the community he calls home. Raised in the Town of McConnells, Daniel and his sisters, Jessica, Emily, and Clair, learned early the values of hard work, faith, and service from his parents, Malcolm and Susan Harshaw. Those values have guided him throughout his life and career.

Daniel graduated from York Comprehensive High School and went on to earn his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of South Carolina. After completing a judicial clerkship, he built his legal career helping families navigate estate matters, plan for the future, and protect what matters most. He also served as in-house counsel for the Bank of York and continues to serve as a director, bringing real-world experience and steady judgment to his work.

Giving back has always been important to Daniel. He is an active member of Olivet Presbyterian Church, where he has served in various leadership roles over the last twenty years, and he remains involved in civic organizations such as the York Rotary Club and local community groups. Daniel has spent years volunteering his time and expertise to help neighbors better understand estate planning and probate matters.

Daniel and his wife, Jane, are raising their four daughters in York County. As a husband and father, Daniel understands how deeply families rely on the Probate Court during life’s most important moments. His commitment to service over self is rooted in gratitude for the community that raised him—and a desire to give back by serving with care, professionalism, and a voice you can trust.
